River Of Light Parade

River Of Light Information!



**Children may not be dropped off at the concert/event- An adult must accompany all children**



Arrival At The Event:

Arrive at the gym- All students should meet with their class/teachers inside the gym.

Please do not go to classrooms!!

Parents: Please keep your children’s gear with you in your seat.



Concert:

Each grade(preschool-6th grade) will perform a song- it is estimated that the concert will last between 30-40 minutes.

Students should stay with their class until the concert is finished.



River of Light Lantern Parade:

Students will be called by their class to go and meet with their parents/the adult with them and gather their lanterns

IMPORTANT: Children must walk with the adult that brought them to the concert- students will not be walking with their class!!


Safety Reminder: Always use crosswalks and cross when directed! Hardwick Police Department will be closing roads to ensure our safety for the walk! No Jaywalking please!



After The Walk:

Willow Poles: Please return all of the poles to the buckets outside of the school after the walk!!

Lanterns: The lanterns and lights are for the students to keep- If they do not want them, please have them donated back to the school! Please don’t throw them away!!


What to Wear:

Thursday is supposed to be very cold ( the highest temperature of the day is 11 degrees!)

Please bring tons of layers for the walk! Again- parents/adults are asked to hold onto their children’s outdoor clothing during the concert performance!
